Mr. He Jing is the founder and managing partner of GEN Law Firm. He has more than 20 years of experience in handling complex legal, regulatory and policy advocacy matters for leading technology companies, global brands, content providers. He started his law practice as a patent attorney for a leading law firm in Silicon Valley and had worked for a major international law firm for years before building his own practice and starting the law firm GEN. Mr. He has been recognized as a leading legal practitioner on nearly all the legal rankings, including Chambers Asia-Pacific, Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, IAM Patent 1000 and IAM Strategy, WTR1000, ALB, Managing Intellectual Property, Benchmark Litigations etc. Mr. He speaks regularly at major international legal conferences and has published a number of writing on China and international legal topics. Mr. He carried out a multi-year US-China IP Dialogue where top IP experts convened and delivered roadmap documents for IP reforms. Mr. He is also involved in multiple charity programs, including rural education and arts. He is currently on Penn State University Dickinson Law School IP and Innovation Initiative Advisory Board and Notre Dame Law Association Board. He appeared at times on Dialogue - the prime time TV news and analysis program on China Global Television Network. Mr. He obtained his LLB and B.Sc from Peking University in 1997 and graduated from University of Notre Dame with his Juris Doctor in 2000. He is licensed to practice law in China and the State of California.
