Asianfin -- Dingdong Maicai has officially launched its international expansion, with Saudi Arabia chosen as its first overseas destination. According to insiders, the company’s strategy in the Middle East will focus on selling prepared meals to local customers, alongside offerings in fresh produce, frozen goods, and general merchandise.
Sources also revealed that Dingdong Maicai’s management held a conference in Saudi Arabia earlier this year. The company is now in the process of establishing a localized team in the region.
In line with its expansion, Dingdong Maicai is actively recruiting for positions in product development, operations, customer service, procurement, sales, and government relations. Several of these roles are based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with candidates expected to be proficient in both English and Arabic. Additionally, the company has introduced an international business management role in its 2025 graduate recruitment program, aiming to cultivate key management talent for its overseas operations.
