Asianfin -- Morgan Stanley expressed an increasingly positive outlook on the Chinese solar supply chain, indicating that prices have reached a bottom and are poised for recovery alongside industry consolidation. The investment bank upgraded the ratings of Longi Green Energy, Tongwei Co., and JA Solar Technology to "overweight."
Analysts, including Eva Hou, noted in their report that the forecast for solar installation capacity in 2024 has been raised by 4% to 225 GW, with a slight increase in the 2025 installation forecast to 240 GW. This revised optimism reflects a broader expectation of improved pricing dynamics in the solar industry.
