AsianFin -- Fujifilm has announced that it has commenced sales of materials essential for the production of cutting-edge semiconductors. These materials, which include photoresists and developers, are used in the process of etching intricate circuits onto silicon wafers.

With the launch of these materials, Fujifilm plans to expand its existing facilities in Japan and South Korea by introducing new production equipment and quality assessment testing devices. Additionally, a new cleanroom will be established in South Korea. However, Fujifilm has not disclosed specific production capacity or investment figures. The new production line is scheduled to begin operations in October 2025.
