AsianFin - U.S. job openings in July dropped to their lowest level since early 2021, accompanied by a rise in layoffs, reflecting a broader slowdown in labor demand. According to the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Wednesday, the number of job openings decreased to 7.67 million, down from a revised 7.91 million in the previous month.
