Heineken to Lay Off up to 6,000 Employees in Next Two Years

Global beer giant Heineken has announced that it will achieve significant cost savings through large-scale productivity improvements and will streamline 5,000 to 6,000 positions over the next two years.

Heineken said that it will integrate FIFCO's beverage and retail business in central America, which is expected to immediately boost earnings per share.

Heineken is widely recognized for its flagship product, Heineken beer, which is one of best-selling beers worldwide. Founded in 1864 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Heineken is one of the largest brewing companies in the world.
