The European Union (EU) has concluded a mid-term review of anti-dumping measures on ceramic tableware and cookware originating from China, imposing a 79.0% tariff on all Chinese producers and exporters.

The European Commission announced the final decision on Friday, stating that the tariff would be effective from the day following its publication. The move follows an ongoing investigation into allegations that Chinese ceramic tableware and cookware were being sold in the EU at prices below market value, harming EU manufacturers.

The 79.0% anti-dumping duty will apply to all Chinese ceramic tableware and cookware producers and exporters, marking a significant increase from previous duties.
