China Regulator Clears Voyah Automobile for Hong Kong Listing by Introduction

Jan 27, 2026, 10:30 p.m. ET

China’s securities regulator has issued a filing notice approving the overseas listing of Voyah Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., clearing the way for the company to be listed on the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) by way of introduction, according to an announcement.

The notice was released by the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). A listing by introduction allows a company to list its shares without raising new capital, typically by admitting existing shares to trading.

Voyah Automobile is a premium electric vehicle brand under China’s state-owned automaker Dongfeng Motor Group. The Hong Kong listing is expected to enhance the company’s access to international capital markets and increase its global visibility.

The move comes as more Chinese companies seek dual listings or overseas market access under China’s filing-based regulatory framework for offshore listings, which took effect in 2023.
