China will implement initiatives to stabilize job markets, expand employment capacity, and improve job quality in response to the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on employment, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
Targeted employment support measures will be rolled out for key industries, and policy documents aimed at promoting employment in response to the impact of AI will be issued.
China will also strengthen employment support for key groups, release policy documents on employment for college graduates and other young people, introduce guidelines to better coordinate urban and rural employment systems, and establish a long-term employment assistance mechanism to prevent people from falling back into or slipping into poverty.
