Beijing Interstellor Manned Space Technology Co. unveiled its commercial crewed spacecraft, Chuangyuezhe-1 (CYZ1), at a global space tourism event, showcasing the full-scale test capsule for the first time.

The company’s technical team said more than three spacecraft have been pre-booked, with over 20 space touristssigned up, and aims to conduct its first crewed flight by 2028.

On January 18, Interstellor announced that the CYZ1 test capsule had successfully completed integrated verification tests of its landing shock absorption system, meeting all expected performance targets. This achievement makes Interstellor the third commercial space company globally to develop and validate landing buffer technology for crewed spacecraft.
