Chinese internet platform Meituan is moving into car sales, following in the footsteps of JD.com.

Meituan signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Thursday with Shanghai Xiche Future Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. The partnership aims to combine the automotive industry with Meituan’s local lifestyle services, creating an integrated platform offering “car purchase, car usage, and local services” in a one-stop solution.
