Wang Teng, former general manager of Xiaomi’s Redmi brand, has launched a new startup focused on sleep health products, according to a post he published on social media on Wednesday.

Wang said the company, named “Today Is Rest Day” (Jinri Yi Xiu), has been formally established after months of preparation and will focus on the research and development of sleep-related health products.

He added that the core members of the founding team mainly come from major Chinese technology companies, including Xiaomi and Huawei, bringing extensive experience in both hardware and software product development.
