Goldman Sachs Group Inc. expects Chinese stock benchmarks to post another year of gains in 2026, though growth is likely to slow compared with 2025, as earnings are bolstered by artificial intelligence adoption and supportive government policies.
In a note on Wednesday, strategists including Kinger Lau forecast the MSCI China Index to rise 20% to 100 by the end of 2026, while the CSI 300 Index is projected to climb 12% to 5,200.
