Chat platform Discord has filed confidentially for an initial public offering in the United States, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The filing comes as the U.S. IPO market showed signs of revival in2025 following nearly three years of subdued activity, though expectations for a stronger rebound were tempered by tariff-related market volatility, a prolonged government shutdown and a late-year selloff in artificial intelligence stocks.
