Taiwan’s Foxconn, the world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer, reported record fourth-quarter revenue on Monday, buoyed by robust demand for artificial intelligence-related products.
The company said quarterly revenue rose 22.07% from a year earlier to T$2.6028 trillion ($82.73 billion), marking the highest fourth-quarter sales in its history.
Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry, is Nvidia’s largest server manufacturing partner and Apple’s main assembler of the iPhone. The surge reflects continued strong orders for AI servers and data centre equipment, which have become a key growth driver for the company amid softer demand in parts of the consumer electronics market.
The company did not provide a detailed profit breakdown but said it remained cautious about near-term market conditions, citing geopolitical uncertainty and volatile global demand, while maintaining a positive outlook for AI-related business in the coming quarters.
