Chinese liquor giant Guizhou Moutai has taken another step in its digital transformation with the establishment of Guizhou Ai Moutai Digital Technology Co., Ltd., according to corporate filings.

The new company, registered with a capital of 600 million yuan, will operate in areas including internet live-streaming technology services, blockchain software and related services, sales of integrated circuit chips and products, and industrial internet data services.

The move signals Moutai’s continued push to integrate digital technologies into its operations and product ecosystem.
