Turkey to Grant Visa-Free Entry to Chinese Passport Holders

Turkey has announced that it will grant visa-free entry to Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports, according to a presidential decree published in the country’s Official Gazette.

The decree, issued on Dec. 31, said the policy will take effect on Jan. 2, 2026. Under the new rules, Chinese passport holders will be allowed to stay in Turkey without a visa for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, for tourism and transit purposes.
