China’s Rino.ai Raises Over $100 Million in 2025 to Expand Self-Driving Delivery Vehicle Business

Rino.ai, a Chinese developer of unmanned delivery vehicles, has completed its third financing round this year, bringing its total 2025 fundraising to more than USD 100 million, the Beijing-based company announced on Thursday.

The latest round included investors such as Ubiquant Partners, QF Capital, Oriza Holdings, and Zhengjing Capital, with Gengxin Capital serving as the company’s long-term financial advisor. Rino.ai did not disclose the exact amount raised in this round.

Proceeds will be used to accelerate mass production and market deployment of the firm’s self-driving delivery vans, advance the development of Level 4 autonomous driving technology, and expand applications in same-city freight, instant delivery, and campus transportation. Part of the funds will also support the company’s overseas expansion plans.

Earlier in 2025, Rino.ai raised 200 million yuan (USD 28.4 million) in a Series B funding round in May, led by Chinese delivery giant SF Holding. In August, the company completed a Series B+ round, bringing the total raised in the two previous fundraisers to over 500 million yuan (USD 71 million).

The company’s rapid fundraising reflects strong investor confidence in China’s autonomous delivery vehicle market, which is gaining traction amid the country’s push for intelligent logistics solutions and smart-city applications.

Rino.ai’s self-driving vans are designed to operate in complex urban environments, providing flexible, low-emission solutions for last-mile delivery. By scaling production and commercial deployment, the company aims to strengthen its position domestically while exploring opportunities in international markets.

With Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities, Rino.ai’s vehicles can operate with minimal human intervention under defined conditions, representing a key step toward fully autonomous logistics systems. The firm’s focus on multiple applications—from campus transport to rapid urban delivery—underscores its ambition to capture a broad share of the evolving automated mobility sector.

Industry analysts note that 2025 has been a pivotal year for Chinese autonomous vehicle startups, with investors increasingly prioritizing companies that demonstrate both technological innovation and near-term commercialization potential. Rino.ai’s latest fundraising round positions it to accelerate deployment and compete in an expanding market where efficiency, safety, and scalability are crucial.

Rino.ai has yet to announce a timeline for its overseas expansion, but the infusion of capital from international and domestic investors is expected to support the company’s ambitions to establish a global footprint in the autonomous delivery segment.
