OpenAI said Apple Music will soon be integrated with ChatGPT, expanding the list of third-party apps connected to the chatbot, according to comments by Fidji Simo, chief executive of OpenAI’s applications business.

Simo said more apps will be added shortly to a new app directory, including those from Adobe, Airtable, Apple Music, Clay, Lovable, OpenTable, Replit and Salesforce, while other developers will be able to submit applications for review and listing.

OpenAI formally launched app integrations within ChatGPT in October last year, with initial partners including Spotify, Booking.com, Canva, Coursera, Figma, Expedia and Zillow.

The company has also released a preview version of its Apps software development kit, which will allow developers to connect their own applications to the ChatGPT ecosystem.
