The key challenge facing the automotive components industry lies in its "small-batch, high-mix" production model, said Yao Xiaochun, Chairman of Vision Tool Co., Ltd. on Tuesday.
He said that the company aims to resolve this bottleneck within three years through the comprehensive application of artificial intelligence.
Speaking at a closed-door forum on embodied intelligence and industrial chain innovation during the 2025 T-EDGE, Yao said Vision Tool plans to deploy AI tools across all production scenarios, using intelligent technologies to improve flexibility, efficiency, and precision in complex manufacturing environments.
Under this plan, Yao said the company is actively seeking partners in three main areas. The first is the development of heterogeneous knowledge graph management models to better organize and utilize complex industrial knowledge.
The second is AI-powered vision systems, trained in close alignment with Zhongtai’s real-world business and production scenarios. The third is co-creation of embodied intelligence solutions for critical manufacturing processes.
