Qianwen, Alibaba’s fast-growing AI application, has launched four major new features — AI PPT, AI Writing, AI Document Library, and AI Problem Explanation — making them available to all users as part of its latest upgrade, the company announced this week.

The newly released Qianwen AI PPT tool supports input in 39 formats, including documents, images, and audio files. It also offers access to more than 100,000 premium presentation templates, all of which users can freely replace and customize.

Alibaba is also expanding Qianwen’s ecosystem by integrating a wide range of everyday services into the app. According to the company, features related to maps, food delivery, ticket booking, office tools, education, shopping, and healthcare are being added in stages, positioning Qianwen as a comprehensive AI-powered lifestyle platform.

Official data from Alibaba shows that Qianwen has experienced explosive user growth since entering public beta on November 17. In just 23 days, the app’s monthly active users — across mobile, web, and desktop — have surpassed 30 million, making it one of the fastest-growing AI applications in the world.

Industry analysts say the rapid adoption reflects both the rising demand for productivity-focused AI tools in China and Alibaba’s push to broaden its consumer-facing AI ecosystem. The company is expected to continue rolling out new features and service integrations in the coming months.
