China’s Great Wall Motor (601633.SS) aims to produce 300,000 vehicles annually in Europe by 2029 as it searches for a site for its first regional car plant, part of a push to revive sluggish sales in the market, a company executive said.

Parker Shi, president of GWM International, told Reuters at the company’s Baoding headquarters in Hebei province that teams are evaluating potential locations in Spain, Hungary, and other European countries for the planned factory.
