Downloads of Alibaba’s cross-border platform AliExpress in Europe surpassed those of Amazon on Nov. 20, the first day of Black Friday, according to Sensor Tower data.
Alibaba International Digital Commerce reported revenue of $4.9 billion in the September quarter, up 10% from a year earlier. The division also turned around its adjusted EBITA, moving from a $409 million loss to a $22.9 million profit.
