Tokyo-based startup NGA said its AI-driven recruitment platform HelloBoss has released its first full-process AI Agent covering both job-seeking and hiring workflows, as the company announced a new funding round backed solely by BAI Capital, an investment arm of Germany’s Bertelsmann.

The new AI Agent provides jobseekers with automated résumé recognition and generation, AI-powered job matching, and natural language interaction, NGA said on Monday. For employers, the tool can draft job postings, conduct automated matching and early-stage outreach, and support AI-assisted screening conversations based on résumés.

HelloBoss founder and CEO Alex Wang, a Chinese-origin entrepreneur long based in Tokyo, said the platform has recorded a tenfold increase in revenue in the two years since its launch in early 2023.
