Alibaba’s AI assistant Qianwen has been downloaded over 10 million times during its first week of public beta, making it the fastest-growing AI app in history.

The company launched the Qianwen beta on Nov. 17, and within three days the app rose into the top three of Apple’s App Store free overall chart, surpassing competitors including ChatGPT, Sora and DeepSeek.
