More international brands are joining fast-fashion giant SHEIN’s marketplace as the company pushes ahead with its platform strategy.
Recent entrants include U.S. collectibles maker Funko, children’s apparel retailer The Children’s Place, South Korean homeware brand LocknLock, French fashion label Pimkie, sports brand Palladium, British shoemaker Clarks, Spain’s footwear brand Porronet and sunglasses maker Hawkers.
SHEIN said its “SHEIN Xcelerator” incubation program has helped nearly 20 brands achieve an average 190% increase in sales. The open platform has also attracted more than 3,000 independent software vendors (ISVs) to collaborate.
