Taiwan’s Foxconn said on Thursday it has formed a joint venture in the United States with Intrinsic to build a next-generation AI robotics factory, as the electronics manufacturer accelerates efforts to integrate advanced automation into its global operations.

The two companies will combine Intrinsic’s AI platform with Foxconn’s manufacturing systems to develop adaptive intelligent robotic solutions aimed at boosting efficiency across Foxconn’s production sites and its broader ecosystem, the company said.

Initial cooperation will focus on applications including assembly, inspection, machine maintenance management and logistics.
