Larry Summers has decided to step down from the board of OpenAI, according to a report on Tuesday.

Details on the reasons for his departure were not immediately disclosed. Summers, a former U.S. Treasury Secretary and former president of Harvard University, joined the board earlier this year as the company expanded its governance structure.

OpenAI has not yet issued a public statement on the reported resignation.
