South Korea’s antitrust regulator is investigating the Seoul offices of Arm Holdings as part of its ongoing scrutiny of the chip designer’s licensing practices, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
Bloomberg News earlier reported that the Korea Fair Trade Commission visited Arm’s Seoul office after Qualcomm filed a complaint accusing the UK-based semiconductor and software design firm of restricting access to its technology and undermining competition, despite operating an open network for more than two decades.
