The international version of Alibaba’s Qianwen App, aimed at overseas markets, is set to launch in the near future.

Alibaba on Monday officially opened the public beta of its newly released AI application Qianwen App. The company plans to deeply integrate the app with various lifestyle scenarios within the Alibaba ecosystem. Qianwen is positioned to compete directly with ChatGPT, signaling Alibaba’s full-scale push into the AI-to-consumer market.

The day after its public beta launch, Qianwen quickly surged to fifth place on the Apple App Store’s overall free apps chart, surpassing DeepSeek.
