Tesla CEO Elon Musk said at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in Austin, Texas, that the automaker’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system has received “partial approval” in China and is expected to gain full approval around February or March 2026.

The comments followed shareholder approval of Tesla’s nearly $1 trillion compensation plan.
