Cybersecurity firm Wiz has received clearance from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) following an antitrust review of its planned $32 billion acquisition by Alphabet, the company’s CEO said Tuesday at a Wall Street Journal event.

The deal — Alphabet’s largest acquisition to date — will see Wiz integrated into Google Cloud, strengthening its cybersecurity capabilities as competition intensifies in the enterprise cloud sector.

The merger is expected to enhance Google’s ability to help businesses detect and mitigate critical security risks, while expanding its footprint in the fast-growing cloud security market.
