China has accused the Netherlands of causing “turmoil and chaos” in the global semiconductor production and supply chain after Dutch authorities seized Chinese-owned chipmaker Nexperia, the Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday.

The ministry criticized the Netherlands for “acting unilaterally,” urging the Dutch government to cease interfering in the internal operations of businesses and to seek a constructive resolution to the situation involving Nexperia, a subsidiary of China’s Wingtech Technology.
