Omnia, a data center company owned by Brazilian investment firm Patria, said Monday it has joined a project to develop a 50 billion real ($9.25 billion) data center in Brazil, with TikTok expected to be its sole client.

The company is partnering with Brazilian renewable energy generator Casa dos Ventos to build the facility in the Pecem port complex, located in the northeastern state of Ceara.
