China will extend visa-free entry for French citizens through Dec. 31, 2026, and introduce a visa-free regime for Swedish nationals from Nov. 10, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said at a regular briefing.

The move is aimed at boosting tourism and fostering bilateral exchanges, MFA spokesperson Mao Ning said, reflecting China’s continued efforts to encourage international travel and strengthen people-to-people ties.
