China Rare Earth Group’s net profit nearly doubled to 1.92 billion yuan (about USD 270 million) in the first three quarters of the year from a year earlier, driven largely by rising rare earth product prices, the state-owned firm said in its latest earnings report. Revenue climbed 28% to 25 billion yuan (about USD 3.51 billion).
