U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday that China has agreed to continue supplying rare earths globally under a one-year arrangement, following his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea

Trump offered few details about the agreement, other than that it is likely to be extended, and said it would “settle” the issue. China has not yet commented on the outcome of the nearly two-hour talks between the two leaders.
