Mercedes-Benz on Wednesday announced a 31% year-on-year decline in third-quarter profit, citing weak sales in China and tariffs on U.S. shipments.

Net profit fell to €1.19 billion from €1.71 billion a year earlier, while revenue declined 7% to €32.15 billion. Adjusted EBIT also dropped 17% to approximately €2.1 billion.
