Baidu is set to begin pre-sales for its latest smart eyewear product, the Xiaodu AI Glasses Pro, on November 1, with official retail availability starting November 10.

The Pro model is an upgraded version of the concept device introduced last year, featuring enhanced capabilities including camera functions, AI-powered translation, object recognition, reminders, and audio recording, Baidu said.

The first version to hit the market will be a Boston-style sunglasses design, while additional models are scheduled to roll out over time.
