Foxconn Board Approves $1.37 Billion Investment in AI Compute Cluster and Supercomputing Center

Foxconn Technology Group’s board of directors has approved an investment plan to acquire equipment for an AI compute cluster and a supercomputing centre, enabling the company to spend up to NT$42 billion ($1.37 billion), according to a filing released late Monday.

The investment is scheduled to be executed from December 2025 through December 2026 using the company’s own funds.

The company said the plan aims “to expand the cloud compute service platform and accelerate the development of the Group’s three smart platforms.” Foxconn did not provide further details on the locations or specific projects covered under the initiative.
