Nio Inc. said it has completed 90 million battery swaps at its own stations as of Sunday, underscoring the growing adoption of its unique swapping model.

The Chinese electric vehicle maker has poured more than 18 billion yuan (about US$2.5 billion) into building its charging and battery-swapping network, which now includes 8,307 operational stations nationwide.
