In the first three quarters of 2025, Beijing recorded a regional gross domestic product of 38,415.9 billion yuan (approximately USD5.37 trillion), representing a 5.6% year-on-year increase at constant prices.

By industry, the primary sector recorded a value-added output of 77.9 billion yuan (about USD10.9 billion), down 1.1%; the secondary sector contributed 5,055.9 billion yuan (around USD707.1 billion), up 4.0%; and the tertiary sector reached 33,282.0 billion yuan (roughly USD4.65 trillion), growing 5.8%.
