China’s market regulator announced today that BYD is recalling 44,535 Tang (2015) and 71,248 Yuan Pro vehicles due to potential safety risks.

The recall covers issues including failures in pure electric mode and improperly installed battery gaskets, which could allow water ingress and compromise insulation performance.
