SpaceX successfully launched another batch of its Starlink internet satellites on Wednesday, marking the company’s 130th Falcon 9 flight of the year and underscoring its record-breaking launch cadence in 2025.

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 5:57 a.m. EDT (0957 GMT), carrying 28 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit. Roughly 8.5 minutes after liftoff, the rocket’s reusable first stage made a smooth landing on the drone ship “Just Read The Instructions” stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The mission adds to SpaceX’s rapidly growing Starlink constellation, which now includes over 6,500 active satellitesdesigned to deliver high-speed, low-latency internet access worldwide. The company has been steadily expanding Starlink coverage, particularly in underserved and remote regions, while also targeting enterprise and aviation customers.
