Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi has incorporated a new subsidiary focused on low-altitude technology, according to business registration data from Qichacha.
The new entity, named Beijing Didi Low Altitude Technology Co., Ltd., was recently set up, with Chen Kai listed as the legal representative. Its business scope includes social and economic consulting services, corporate management consulting, software development and sales, artificial intelligence application software development, and online sales.
Ownership records show that the company is wholly owned by Beijing Xiaoju Technology Group Co., Ltd., Didi’s parent company.
This move indicates Didi’s growing interest in emerging technologies related to low-altitude airspace, potentially including drones, urban air mobility, or other innovative transport solutions.
