AsianFin — Huawei announced on its official website that Meng Wanzhou will serve as the company’s rotating chair from October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, in line with its rotating chairmanship system.

During her term, Meng will preside over meetings of the Board of Directors and the Board’s Executive Committee, overseeing key decision-making processes.

The rotating chairmanship system is a hallmark of Huawei’s governance structure, ensuring continuity in leadership by alternating responsibilities among senior executives every six months.

Meng Wanzhou, who is also Huawei’s Deputy Chair and Chief Financial Officer, has previously served in this rotating leadership role.
