AsianFin -- Tsinghua University has announced disciplinary action against certain individuals involved in profit-making activities on campus. According to a statement released Monday by the university’s security department, two faculty and staff members have been placed under administrative detention.
The statement highlighted a series of recent incidents in which affiliated personnel failed to follow campus entry registration rules, bringing unauthorized off-campus individuals onto the campus. Some of these individuals reportedly engaged in profit-driven activities as unlicensed tour guides or scalpers, disrupting campus order and creating potential security risks.
