AsianFin -- U.S. President Donald Trump publicly called on Microsoft to terminate Lisa Monaco, the company’s president of global affairs, citing her past roles in government and alleged access to sensitive information.

In a post on his Truth Social platform Friday, Trump highlighted Monaco’s service as a senior national security aide under President Barack Obama and as deputy attorney general under President Joe Biden, describing her tenure as “Lawfare and Weaponization obsessed.” He expressed concern that her current position at Microsoft gives her access to “highly sensitive information,” which he deemed “unacceptable.”

“It is my opinion that Microsoft should immediately terminate the employment of Lisa Monaco,” Trump wrote.

Earlier this year, Trump issued an order rescinding Monaco’s security clearance, a move that also affected President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and members of the Biden family.
