AsianFin -- State-owned automaker China FAW Group is set to acquire a 35.8% stake in Zhuoyu Technology, an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) developer spun off from drone maker DJI Technology, as part of its strategic push into intelligent driving.
The stake will be purchased from Hong Kong-based New Territory Technology, according to a filing published yesterday by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation. The transaction positions FAW as the largest single shareholder in the ADAS firm, strengthening its foothold in autonomous vehicle technologies.
Zhuoyu Technology, known for its expertise in perception, sensing, and autonomous navigation systems, represents a critical component in China FAW’s broader ambitions to expand its portfolio in smart mobility and next-generation automotive technologies.
