AsianFin -- China’s Lenovo Group is advancing research and development of hybrid AI for both personal and enterprise use, which the company sees as the optimal path toward inclusive artificial intelligence, according to Yang Yuanqing, CEO and chairman of the world’s largest PC maker.
Speaking at a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s 1985 CS Graduates Education & Development Fund and the Yang Yuanqing Education Fund, Yang outlined two main directions for AI development.
The first is to push AI models toward general intelligence by leveraging massive computing power and abundant resources. The second is to expand AI applications across industries, ensuring the technology becomes widely accessible and delivers tangible benefits to all.
